Melton Morehead has been involved in fitness and athletics for most of his life, beginning with helping his father prepare for military PT tests. He has competed in boxing, football, basketball, wrestling, track & field, and powerlifting, and began his career as a fitness trainer in 2009. Melton brings a performance-focused coaching approach rooted in consistency, discipline, and long-term strength development, and works with both high school and collegiate athletes across multiple sports and disciplines.

MELTON MOREHEAD

Nik Aston has been driven by strength and conditioning from an early age and pursued a Master’s degree in Exercise Science to deepen his understanding of human performance. He has experience working with high school and college athletes, competitive weightlifters, powerlifters, Highland Games athletes, and general population clients. His coaching focuses on building strength, increasing muscle mass, and improving body composition in a structured and sustainable way.

Ezra Newell has trained in strength sports since early adolescence, beginning with gym training and entering powerlifting as a teenager. He is a coach in The Barbell Club and works with both high-level strength athletes and people simply looking to get stronger and feel better in everyday life. Ezra focuses on helping clients build strength, resilience, and confidence through consistent, intentional training and long-term athlete development both inside and outside the gym.

Cassi Niemann has 25 years of strength and conditioning experience and is the founder of The Barbell Club. Christine Hidalgo has over a decade of strength training experience and transitioned into powerlifting after sports-related injuries and rehabilitation focus. She is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and has competed in powerlifting since 2018 while continuing to train and coach. She works with clients of all levels, from beginners to competitive athletes, emphasizing safe, effective, and empowering movement training practices. She also offers physical therapy consultations to Iron Soul members.

Katelynn Henderson has a background in national-level equestrian sport and transitioned into strength training after being diagnosed with lupus systematically. Katelynn has extensive experience in powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and functional fitness - bringing expertise and empathy to each of her clients. Katelynn focuses on helping clients improve both physical and mental health through structured, results-driven strength training and coaching systems approach.
